Grandma's Words of Wisdom "Waste not want not... Don't go away hungry... Make yourself out a meal... Eat up, time ya do"
I love making this. It is so much better than the store bought kind. When Ryan and I got married Ryan was amazed that you could actually make youre own syrup. We were just having this conversation the other day. He always grew up having store bought. Now he won't go back to store bought if his life depended on it.
ReplyDeleteI agree. They put way too much sugar in the store bought kind. It's way too sweet. We have a bottle of store bought syrup that's been sitting in the fridge for over a year--can't believe I'm admitting it.
